Magic Carpets Austria offers from time to time participatory discursive events and activities related to the current topics of our projects such as public space, community, art and culture.
Lectures
In direct thematic connection with our projects, we have put together a program of interesting lectures about sound art and space that are accessible to a wider local audience, and at the same time close to the interests of the artist selected for the residency.
Panels & Presentations
Every year, we organize info events about EU projects and the Magic Carpets Platform. These take the form of short lectures, presentations, debriefings and open discussions in openspace.innsbruck.
Workshops
In the focus of our interest lies an intergenerational and cross-interest knowledge sharing which is connected thematically with our Magic Carpets platform projects. This takes the form of interesting workshops which are also open to the broader public.
Online Schooling Sessions
With our online schooling program, which focuses on individuals, communities and initiatives, we want to create effective change on the ground. The program is complemented by guest lectures, workshops, talks, participatory activities and innovative approaches.
